Since 2006, Expo Solutions has been integral to the operational success of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC)'s National Results Centre in Tshwane, Gauteng.

The Centre serves as the focal point for South Africa's electoral processes, where our expertise in infrastructure management and logistical coordination ensures the smooth and efficient dissemination of election results. Introduction to the ROC

The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) is a constitutional body responsible for overseeing and conducting free and fair elections within South Africa. As part of its mandate, the IEC is responsible for and in requirement of the construction, implementation and management of the National Results Operations Centre (ROC) during South Africa’s National and Municipal Elections.

The ROC is a central location where all election results are received, verified, and announced to the public. It is a critical component of the electoral process, as it ensures transparency and accountability in the election results. The ROC is also responsible for providing real-time updates on the progress of the election, allowing for the timely release of accurate results.

Our Journey with the IEC

Role and Responsibilities

Expo Solutions’ collaboration with the IEC encompassed a comprehensive suite of services, tailored to support the critical operations of the National Results Centre:

• Facilities Management: Our role as the appointed facilities manager highlights our reliability and the trust placed in us to maintain the Centre's functionality and security to the highest standards.

• Comprehensive Infrastructure Provision: We deliver an all-encompassing infrastructure solution, equipping electoral parties and media with necessary operational and broadcasting facilities.

• Venue Branding and Leader boards: We manage all aspects of venue branding to reflect the gravitas of the electoral process and provide both digital and physical leader boards for accurate, real-time election result updates. 

Project Management Excellence

Our project management services are at the core of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination across all facets of the Centre's setup and functionality. Our representation at the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) is pivotal in aligning operations and security measures. The build-up for the ROC spans over a 6 to 8-week period.
